Did you know in Israel Purim is one of the most widely celebrated holidays? From the North to the South, Jerusalem to Tel Aviv the streets are filled with costumes and celebration and most of all, the smell of freshly baked hamantaschen!
So, speaking of food, we wanted to share with you our top-secret, mouth-watering, awe-inspiring Nutella Hamantaschen recipe.

Nutella Hamantaschen Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp orange (or lemon) zest
- 2 ¼ cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1-5 tsp water, if needed
- Nutella Hazelnut Spread
- Preheat oven to 350°. Grease cookie sheets.
- Beat eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla and zest. Add remaining ingredients: mix well.
- Divide into 4 parts.
- Assemble and bake accordingly to the directions below.
